Mengdi Li

Graphic Designer / Illustrator

Mengdi is a graphic designer and an illustrator who is currently pursuing an MFA in Communications Design at Pratt Institute. She grew up in China and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University in South Korea. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Korean, she possesses extensive overseas experience and an educational and cultural background.
 

She possesses a keen interest and experience in various forms of visual communication design, including posters, brand/VI, UX/UI, typeface, and book designs. Her artistic style is colorful, cheerful, and innovative. Most of her artworks focus on human social, cultural, and environmental issues. Mengdi's creations serve as a bridge between social issues and people, resonating with a broad range of viewers. She conveys facts by incorporating metaphors into her illustrations, which serves as her approach to identifying and addressing issues.
