‘Fun Tum' is a project completed by Mengdi (myself), Sangeetha Ramanath, and Logan House as part of our MFA Communications Design Visual Language B course at Pratt Institute. We aim to create an activated space by extending playful aesthetics to a setting that is known for it: a playground. By utilizing both our existing and new illustrations, we plan to modify the park fence, thereby transforming it into a playful area that utilizes form, color, and language to engage with children and all passersby. Additionally, we each created our own unique characters, in our respective styles and colors, which are intertwined with each other's work. This personalizes our installation, helping young viewers feel a connection to it.

We care about what can be communicated beyond language. We are open to interpretation. We always add layers of meaning to each other's creation. We are committed to playfulness.
